Meet the Maker

Hi all! Thank you so much for stopping by my page. My name is Barb Eakins and I am the maker behind the scenes!

After rounding out a full chapter as a preschool teacher, in 2020, I transitioned into a full-time crafter. Being a preschool teacher, and raising four of my own children, allowed me to keep my creativity alive all these years, so to be able to sit back and relax while getting to craft is a dream come true!

I recently launched Chicken Pickins as a way to share my hobby with the wonderful crafting community, who has welcomed me with open arms. I am so excited to show you what I'll be doing next and hope that you follow alongside me!
